VT SVC NAMES CURTIS BROOKSHIRE
VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING
November 26, 2008: KIDRON, Ohio - VT Specialized Vehicles Corporation, Inc., (VT_SVC), a company of Vision Technologies Systems, Inc. (VT Systems), has named Curtis B. Brookshire to the position of Vice President of Engineering, VT SVC.
In his new capacity, Brookshire is responsible for all of the corporations engineering activities including support for sales, operations, new product design, value engineering and safety-regulatory compliance.
He also will oversee a centralized research and development group to focus, support and accelerate priorities for both Kidron and Hackney brand truck bodies and trailers. Both are leading VT SVC products, designed for refrigerated and dry freight, sold largely into food and beverage distribution networks throughout North and Central America.

Brookshire graduated with honors from North Carolina State University with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering. He joined Hackney and Sons in 1974 after a successful design and development engineering career with General Motors. For Hackney and Sons, he served as Chief Engineer of Beverage Products and later Chief Development Engineer for SVC and TTI, the previous owner of Kidron and Hackney brands. He is based at VT SVC headquarters in Washington, NC.
